If the sun refuse to shine                                                                                                                       I would still be loving you                                                                                                             When mountains crumble to the sea                                                                                         There will still be you and me

Kind woman, I give you my heart                                                                                                      Kind woman, nothing more

Little drops of rain whisper of the pain                                                                                          Tears of loves lost in the days gone by                                                                                           My love is strong, with you there is no wrong                                                                                 Together we shall go until we die                                                                                                       My, my, my inspiration is what you are to me                                                                                 Inspiration look, see

And so today, my world it smiles                                                                                                         Your hand in mine, we walk the miles                                                                                               Thanks to you it will be done                                                                                                               For you to me are the only one                                                                                                           Happiness, no more to be sad                                                                                                             Happiness, I am glad

If the sun refuse to shine                                                                                                                      I would still be loving you

If the sun refuse to shine, I would still be loving you. When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Kind woman I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.

Little drops of rain whisper on the pane, tears of love lost in the days gone by. My love is strong, with you there is no wrong, together we shall go until we die. My, my, my. An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look…see.

And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles. Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.

Happiness, no more be sad, happiness…I’m glad. If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you. When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Song by Led Zeppelin, 1969, entitled, ‘Thank You’

Quote & Pic of the Day, No. 9 of 24

Stairway to Heaven (song by Led Zeppelin,1971) or Kukulkan Pyramid at Chitchen Itza, Yucatan, Mexico? Pyramid, of course, but the Mayans may have thought it was a spiritual stairway to heaven. Kukulkan was designated one of the Seven Wonders of the World in 2007. This pyramid and entire temple complex is an amazing city-state of the ancient Mayan culture. There are other similar complexes throughout Mexico and Central America where ancient cultures once thrived, although Chitchen Itza is one of the larger de-forested complexes from these ancient civilizations (Mayan & Aztec).

Mayan Stairway to Heaven                                                                                                                                           ” Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future for it is yet to come. Live in the present and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering. ”   Author Unknown, but similar expressions of the same concept can be found from multiple sources, including the Bible.
