This beautiful creature captured my full attention while I was on my way to the office last week. At first sight she was standing away from the fence enjoying the serenity of a winter morning. After I stopped, she methodically walked directly towards me, as though she were examining me. I believe the exchange was mutual. I only had my pocket Sony camera, so I quickly grabbed it and snapped a few shots. I spoke with her for a minute before I continued on my way. Sometimes we just get lucky and are afforded the opportunity to witness something wonderful. That moment was such a time. Animal and man staring into each others eyes is always a special thing for me. I stare at our Westie all the time. I often wonder what Carson thinks when I do that. Ha! Maybe it’s better that I don’t know.
